Bangkok City Ballet Company Dancers

 

1.Napichaya Ampunsang (Orn)

Born in Surat Thani, Thailand, Napichaya or Orn was trained in dancing at age of 17 at Orn graduated from the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University, majoring in dance. She received a scholarship to pursuit her dance study in Hong Kong. 
 
Orn became BCB dancer since 2003 and she was promoted to a Principal dancer in 2009. Her major roles with BCB include Talisman pas de deux, Aurora act 2 & 3 in “Sleeping Beauty, “Carmen” Contemporary, Kriti act 2 in “Don Quixote”, and “Odette” Swan Lake Pas de deux. Orn was awarded 1st Prize of Pas de Deux (Open age) ATOD International 2018. Besides dancing with Bangkok City Ballet as principal dancer, Orn is also the Director of POINT STUDIO Institute. 
 
Orn is very active in the Media and TV Entertainment Industry. She was the Top 10 in the Thailand Got Talent, Heart & Soul team. She is also one of the major choreographers for the advertisement agency. Orn was awarded the best teacher in the Asian Ballet Competition 2020-2021 as well as receiving the Best Leader Award Contemporary Dance Competition in Korea international 2021-2022. She has been a coach for Cheer Dance Technique for Thai National Team since 2021.

2. Sarassanan Chaisinlapin (Tae)

Sarassanan or Tae was originally from Lamphun, Thailand, and had trained classical ballet at Chiang Mai Ballet Academy since the age of four.

Sarassanan graduated from Chiang Mai University with a BA in English. She was also accredited with Advanced 2 level in classical ballet of RAD of UK certification and was awarded in jazz ballet by CSTD, Australia. She is certified in Ballet teaching (CBTS program) by RAD; assessed in Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) Junior, Senior & Advanced Programs; and certified in completion the Vaganova Teacher Course for teaching Vaganova method.
 
Sarassanan was first appeared with the Bangkok City Ballet Company during 2009. In 2014, she was promoted to a principal dancer. Her repertoires with BCB include The Nutcracker, Don Quixoté, Coppélia, Raymonda, Swan Lake, Flower Festival in Genzano, Sleeping Beauty and La Bayadère. In addition to ballet, she is also active as a dancer in productions of new promising choreographers. Representing BCB and Thailand, Sarassanan was invited to perform in the “Chorea Gala 2019”, an international dance festival, in Bratislava, The Slovak Republic.

3. Anchalika Toragsaskul (Amme)

Anchalika or Amme was born in Bangkok. She was trained classical ballet with Miss Kanchana Cholavicharn since 6 years old and Mr. William Morgan at Varaporn-Kanchana Ballet School. Amme graduated from the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University, majoring in Ballet with Gold First Class honor. Amme was invited to be a ballet instructor in Japan for 8 years.

With the purpose of sharing exceptional and high-quality instruction to the ballet students in Bangkok, Amme came back to Thailand in 2015. She joined Bangkok City Ballet as a BCBS instructor and a BCB company dancer since then. The recent performance with BCB was Bolero from Don Quixote and The Initiation, etc.
 

4. Paengpim Somjai (Ice)

Originally from Chiang Mai, Paengpim or Ice was trained ballet in CSTD to advanced level and completed Bachelor of Fine Art in Performing Arts-Western Dance (1st honors) from Srinakharinwirot University, then exploring her dance experience in the dance intensive with Kibbutz Dance Company, Israel in 2019.  
 
Since 2014, she started her dance career with Bangkok City Ballet, appeared in both classical and contemporary dance productions including Flower Festival, friends in Don Quixote, black swan in Swan Lake and Unfolding. In 2017, She was recruited to perform Kinaree in Manohra Ballet during the funeral ceremony of the late King Bhumibol. In 2021, she worked in collaboration with friends in RUAM-ATTA-RAK (Collective Identity) performance on the 10th Performative art project and EventHorizons. 
 
Throughout her career, she had the opportunity to work and perform with many Thai and international choreographers, including, Olga Roriz (Rite of Spring), Jérôme Bel (GALA), James Pett (Unfolding), Jay Carlon (Landlocked-site specific), Naporn Wattanakasaem (Silent), Pakhamon Hemachandra (Trace-site specific) and recently work with Aditep Jane (Two of Us). 

5.Pattarawadee Tinanun (Nam)

Pattarawadee or Nam was born in Bangkok. She began her Ballet and Jazz dance at Bangkok Dance Academy. She had been trained in Classical Ballet; Royal Academy of Dance [RAD] Syllabus and The Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing [CSTD] Syllabus, and Jazz dance; Contemporary Dance Association [CDA] Syllabus and CSTD Syllabus. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Art in Western Dance, Srinakharinwirot University. She joined Bangkok City Ballet Company in 2012 as a Dancer, and started training Contemporary dance at that time. She has danced for Bangkok City Ballet Company in various styles of dance including Ballet, Jazz dance and Contemporary dance. In 2019, she has danced in “Unfolding” contemporary piece by James Pett, remarkable choreographer. She has joined “SHIFT dance intensive course” [Focus on Contemporary dance technique] in Hong Kong. In 2020, She has opportunity to work with Jay Carlon as a BCB dancer performed “Landlocked” at Bangkok Edge บางกอกแหวกแนว at Museum Siam and Bangkok 1899. She is currently a dancer of Bangkok City Ballet Company as well as a BCBS dance instructor and choreographer of Bangkok City Ballet School.

6.Karnjanakorn Sapianchai (Gift)

Born in Bangkok, Karnjanakorn or Gift, began her dance training at Dance Space by Ant. She continued her education at the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington D.C and later on received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance from Butler University. She went on to dance with Kentucky Ballet Theater before returning to Thailand to join Bangkok City Ballet Company in 2019. Throughout her career she had the opportunity to perform both soloist and corp de ballet roles in full-length classical ballets as well as original neoclassical productions including George Balanchine’s The Four Temperaments, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty and Giselle. Furthermore, her repertoire extends into contemporary dance including original works by Thai and international choreographers. In addition to her dance career, she also teaches ballet to the younger generation. 
 
Presently, Gift is one of BCBS hopeful ballet instructors. Recently, she received a major role as Paquita in the Bangkok City Ballet School’s 26th Junior Ballet Concert dancing with an oversea guest dancer.
 

7.Natchaporn Sornrasawan (PAM)

Originally from Mahasarakham, Thailand, Natchaporn or Pam started ballet while she was 12 at Little Dance Studio Mahasarakham for a few years. Later she was trained in Contemporary dance, Street Dance, Ballroom/Latin dancing. With the passion in dance, Pam continued her dance education seriously and graduated from Mahasarakham University in 2012.
 
She joined Bangkok City Ballet Company in 2018 as both ballet and contemporary dancer. During her career with Bangkok City Ballet, she has performed various dances both contemporary and classical including “Blessing from the Sun”, “Napolitan” in Swan Lake, “Guest” in the Nutcracker, and “Raccoon” in Pinocchio.
In Remembrance of His Late Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, she was selected to perform as one of Kinarees in 2017. Pam also performed in overseas such as “Thai Trade Exhibition 2017”, “Made in Asia Exhibition 2017” in UAE. And she experienced in the musical dances; Fan-Ja the Musical and THE LEGEND MUSICAL @ LHONG 1919
 
Besides dancing with Bangkok City Ballet, Pam also works as aerial instructor at I Can Fly Aerial Studio. 
 

8. Nichapat Thawanwanichkul (NamTaan)

Born in Bangkok, Nichapat or NamTaan graduated from the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University, majoring in Western Dance. She completed Advanced 2 examination from the Royal Academy of Dance at Aree School of Dance Arts. She has participated summer intensive course 2014 at Alegria in Australia for 2 months. 
 
In 2017 Nichapat joined Bangkok City Ballet as corps de ballet. During her career with Bangkok City Ballet, she has performed a variety of both classical roles and contemporary including “Silent” by Naporn Wattanakasaem, “Unfolding” by James Pett, “Embrace to be Embraced” by Supatchai Lappakornkul, “Iris” by Sarassanan Chaisinlapin, “Snow Queen” in The Nutcracker, “Effie” in La Sylphide and recently the “Fox” in Pinocchio. Besides, as a BCB member, Nichapat was awarded the Silver Medal at the A.T.O.D (Novelty) and the Gold Medal at C.S.T.D (Group Contemporary). 
 
 

9. Sangtip Wareesangtip (May)

Born in Bangkok, May started learning ballet at the age of six at Bangkok dance academy. She graduated from Chulalongkorn University, majoring in Western Dance. May completed Advanced 2 examination from the Royal Academy of Dance at Bangkok Dance Academy. Her dance career with Bangkok City Ballet Company started  from 2010, appearing in both classical pieces and contemporary dance productions with many Thai and international artists. May performed as Saracen dance and Bolero in Raymonda, Napolitan in Swan Lake, Manu from La bayadère, Chinese dance in The Nutcracker, “Silent” by Naporn Wattanakasaem, “Unfolding” by James Pett, “Iris” by Sarassanan Chaisinlapin, “Embrace to be Embraced” by Supatchai Lappakornkul.
 
Recently, May was guested to receive the role of Circus master in the 26th Junior Ballet Concert presenting Pinocchio.
 
Besides dancing as BCB company member, May works as an instructor at the Physique 57.

10. Varisara Chaikraveephand (Take Care)

Born in Bangkok, Varisara or Take Care started ballet at age 10. She completed RAD Advanced 2 with Distinction from Aree School of Dance Art. After that, she joined many Summer Intensive Programs including Goh Ballet Academy, Hong Kong Summer Intensive Program of AGP, Alegria Dance Studio and Tanya Pearson Academy. In 2015 she received Bachelor's Degree from the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University with 2nd Class Honors. Later on 2016, she joined Bangkok City Ballet for two years performing a various classical roles including 'Friends' in Don Quixote in the 20th Junior Ballet Concert which was her last stage with BCB before moving to Hong Kong to attend Hong Kong Disneyland as a Parade and Stage Dancer for two and a half years. She came back to Thailand in 2021 and rejoined Bangkok City Ballet since then. 
 
Besides, as a BCB members, Varisara was awarded the 1st place of Solo Ballet and Contemporary Group (BIDC) and 2nd place of Contemporary Group in 3rd CSTD Thailand Dance Competition.
 
 

11. Yitong Wang (Elyn)

Born in China, Yitong Wang or Elyn was trained at the Dance Academy of Shenyang China. She was with the National Ballet of China Soloist during 2002-2011.
 
Elyn was also invited to Akram Khan Dance Company as Guest Dancer during 2007-2008. Her major roles included Red Detachment of Women, Bahok, Swan Lake, Carmen, Le Corsaire, Serenade, La Baydère, Giselle, Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet.
 
Elyn was also a dance teacher at the National Ballet of China Dance School during 2011-2019. Besides, she is an RAD Registered Teacher.
 
Beginning of 2020, Elyn moved to Bangkok with her family. After the long-time closure due to the pandemic, she later joined Bangkok City Ballet Company in 2022 and this is her first time performing with Bangkok City Ballet Company.
 
 

12. Pitchaya Sirinanuwat (Gale)

Born in Songkhla, Thailand, Pitchaya or Gale graduated ballet program for Advanced 1 and Grade 8 level (RAD) with distinction at Dance Space by Ant. She participated a Ballet summer class at JEAN M. WONG School of Ballet, Hong Kong when she was at the age of 21. In 2015, She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Faculty of Fine Arts at Chulalongkorn University. She was completed the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Study (RAD) and Certificate in Australian Teachers of Dancing (A.T.O.D.) thereafter. 
 
Gale joined the Bangkok City Ballet as a company dancer and being a part of their performances since 2016. She has performed The Royal Cremation Ceremony for His Majesty King Bhumibol  Adulyadej in 2017.
Pitchaya was awarded the gold medal from 2021 A.T.O.D International Dance Competition as group and 2nd Place All Style (Modern / Contemporary ) Troupe from CSTD Thailand Grand Prix 2022 Dance Competition. In 2018, Pitchaya started a formal ballet school named “Sisters Dance Studio” as a founder and teacher since then.

13.Samita Tanglaocharoen (Sandy)

Born in Bangkok, Thailand, Samita or Sandy was trained at Dance Space by Ant from the age of four, and later graduated her dance education with Kirov Academy of Ballet of Washington D.C. in 2017.
 
From 2017 to 2019, she danced with Atlantic City Ballet and had the opportunities to perform both Corps de Ballet and soloist in full-length classical ballets including The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, The sleeping beauty, and Cinderella. Then in 2020, she joined Bangkok City Ballet Company. Her major role with BCB is Queen of Dryads variation.
 
In 2021, Sandy was awarded 1st place Repertoire Solo and 1st place Contemporary Open (Group) in A.T.O.D International Dance Competition. 
 
 

14. Anurak NGAMTA (Fiat)

Born in Loei, Thailand, Anurak or Fiat graduated the Bachelor of Fine and Applied Arts in Performing Arts (major in Ballet), from Mahasarakham University. 
 
He joined Bangkok City Ballet Company since 2007 and was promoted to principal dancer in 2009. He was invited to dance as a guest dancer by other dance companies/schools both in Thailand and overseas such as Danceworks Production (Malaysia), Ena Ballet Studio (Japan), Suganami Classical Ballet School (Japan), Aree Dance Arts School (Thailand), Rising star (Thailand), Point Studio (Thailand).
 
He won a lot of dance competitions; Gold medal from Yokosuka International Ballet Competition, 1st Prize of Pas de Deux (Open age) ATOD International 2018, 1st Prize of CSTD Classical Championship (Open Age) in 2015 and 2016, 1st Prize of Classical Solo (Open age) in The 18th Asia Pacific Dance Competition Macau and etc. In Remembrance of His Late Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, he was selected to perform in Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, as main ballet dancer role as Phra Suthon. Fiat was invited as Thai male dancer representative of Bangkok City Ballet to perform modern ballet in Chorea International Dance Festival at Slovakia in June 2019.
 

15. Napatachanatorn Preuksirisohpon (Keng)

Born in Bangkok, Napatachanatorn or Keng started his ballet training at the age of 18 at Beautie Dance Studio.
 
He graduated Western Dance from the Faculty of Fine Art, Srinakharinwirot University (2nd Hons). Keng joined Bangkok City Ballet Company in 2010 as a ballet and contemporary dancer.
 
His major roles with BCB include Grand Pas de deux Act3 in “Coppelia”, Espada in "Don Quixote", Friend of leading actor in "Coppelia", and Drosselmeyer, Rat King, Flower Waltz in "The Nutcracker". 
 
For contemporary dance, he worked and danced with many Thai and international choreographers, including Stephen Blegley, Aditep Buanoi, Chotdecha Dangchinakupt, Naporn Wattanakasaem, Patrice Leroy and Orawee Jamnansil.
 
Besides, he is a choreographer for various contemporary pieces including "Shapes of life" and "Hope", particularly created for BCB. 
 
Moreover, Keng was awarded Excellent Teacher Award 2020 in the Asian Ballet Competition. Currently, he teaches ballet at Point Studio Institute and Beautie Dance Studio.

16. Chanakarn Panpijit (Toy)

Born in Khon Kaen, Thailand, Chanakarn or Toy started dancing at the age of 17 at Kaen Nakhon Wittayalai school. With the passion in dance, Toy graduated the Bachelor of Fine and Applied Arts in Performing Arts (major in Ballet), from Mahasarakham University. Toy is currently one of Thailand’s most prominent ballet dancers. Toy joined Bangkok City Ballet Company in 2018. His major roles in ballet included Don Quixote’s pas de deux, Prince and Sugar Plum fairy’s pas de deux (The Nutcracker), Peasant pas de deux (Giselle), Gurn in “La sylphide”. 
 
Toy was awarded 1st place in various ballet competition such as A.T.O.D International Dance Competition and CSTD Thailand Dance Grand Prix.
 
Besides dancing with Bangkok City Ballet, Toy is a dance instructor and choreographer. Apart from ballet, He has performed a variety of dances both contemporary Hip hop including "Blessing from the Sun" by Chotedecha Dangchinakupt, “Silent” by Naporn Wattanakasaem, “Unfolding” by James Pett, “Embrace to be Embraced” by Supatchai Lappakornkul, “RUN” by The Copanagnie Zahrbat. He also got the 1st place Champrock Dance Competition 2022.
 

17. Sathonthorn Proramattamasakol (Eakkie)

Sathonthorn or Eakkie started dancing at age of 14, Melody Plus School of Dance & Music. With the passion in dance, he pursuit his dance study in Western Dance at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Srinakharinwirot University. During his third year in university, he passed the audition and became a BCB member in 2014. Eakkie was awarded the 1st lyrical dance open (solo), 1st All style Ensemble (open), 1st contemporary dance open (group) in A.T.O.D IDC 2018 Thailand as well as Gold medal in Contemporary dance (group) in A.T.O.D IDC 2019 Thailand. 
 
During his career with Bangkok City Ballet, he has performed a variety of both classical roles and contemporary including Tin Man in “The Wizard of OZ, Blue bird Pas de Deux, James in “La sylphide”, Flame of Paris Pas de Deux, “Silent” by Naporn Wattanakasaem, “Unfolding” by James Pett, “Embrace to be Embraced” by Supatchai Lappakornkul.

Eakkie worked as an aerial and yoga fly instructor at Aerial Factory Bangkok. Currently, he is a dance teacher with Associate Teaching Certificate at Dance Plus Academy Bangkok since 2019.
 

 

18. Wuttipong Mongkolphan (Mo)

Wuttipong or Mo started dancing ballet at the age of 18. He graduated from Western Dance (Ballet), faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University (2nd Hons). He completed Advanced 2 (RAD) with distinction in 2020, attended Teacher’s Training Seminar, Vaganova Syllabus for Year 1 in 2021, and also in May 2023, he had a chance to participate in the A. T. O. D. I. Teachers Workshops (Australian Teachers of Dancing International).   
 
In 2018, he joined Bangkok City Ballet Company as a Ballet Dancer while he was studying in the University and has been active with the company’s activities up until now. He was invited to dance with Bangkok City Ballet School as JAMES in LA SYLPHIDE, in the 25th Bangkok City Ballet’s Junior Ballet Concert. 
 
Aside from Ballet, Wuttipong also has interest in many types of dances, and been participated in numerous dance competitions. Some of the results are, 1st place Solo Jazz (A.T.O.D), 1st place Solo Lyrical (CSTD), 1st place Senior Double Freestyle Pom (ICU Asian Cheerleading Championship).
 
 

19. Supatchai Lappakornkul (Tick Tock)

Born and raised in Bangkok, Supatchai or Tick Tock holds a Bachelor’s degree in Western Music, Kasetsart University. He decided to join BCB in 2012. His love and passion for dance earned him the Diploma in Dance, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) with Best Graduation Award. Pior his graduation from NAFA he went to study at Purchase College State University of New York, USA as an exchange student. He served as adjunct lecturer at NAFA and Singapore Raffles Music College. He also worked with numerous of international choreographers and presented his dance pieces in both local and international platforms.
 
As BCB dancer, He performed Blue Bird Pas de Deux, Geppetton in Pinocchio, and “Unfolding” by James Pett. He was also a choreographer for contemporary pieces such as “Embraced to be Embraced”.
He is now a dance artist for National Contemporary Ballet in Singapore and Bangkok City Ballet. As well as a certified pilates instructor.
 
 

20. Wonbunjong Piyasantiwong (Tiger)

Born in Bangkok, Wonbunjong or Tiger received his ballet training at Varaporn-Kanchana Ballet School and later at National High Conservatory of Music And Dance of Lyon, CNSMD de Lyon FRANCE. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University, majoring in dance. 

In 2018, Tiger joined Bangkok City Ballet Company. His main roles with BCB included Rothbart in Swan Lake and Nutcracker in the Nutcracker. 
 
Besides dancing with BCB company, Tiger teaches and coaches dances at Dance Space by Ant. He is also certified as A.T.O.D. Tap and Street Beat Teacher.  He was also a choreographer training singers and dancers in many concerts, advertisements and working with famous artists and professional singer such as Ben Chalatit Tantiwut, Nantida Kaewbuasai, and Bie Sukrit Wisetkaew.

1. Margaerie Muangsuwana (Ava)

Born and raised in Nonthaburi, Thailand, Martaerie or Eve started training classical ballet at Bangkok Dance Academy at the age of four. She graduated from the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, majoring in Western Dance, Chulalongkorn University. She also completed Advanced 2 examination from the Royal Academy of Dance and Premiere Dansuer from Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dance at Bangkok Dance Academy. Now she works as a ballet teacher, choreographer and professional dancer in entertainment industry.
 
In 2022 Margaerie joined Bangkok City Ballet Company and performed as corps de ballet in Romeo and Juliet and Don Quixote.

2.Supassara Khamsura (Gift)

Supassara or Gift is a ballet dancer, with experience in classical ballet for almost 20 years. Her ballet life started at Aree School of Dance Arts at the age of three.  
 
Her first appearance as a principal for the Aree School of Dance Arts in 2016 was Summer Fairy from Cinderella and had been performing in Prima performance of the school for approximately 12 stages. She then pursued her passion towards arts in the Fine and Applied Arts of Chulalongkorn University and graduated in 2022 academic year with Gamzatti Solo and Nikiya and Solo pas de deux variation. During pre-graduation, Supassara also trained in classical ballet at the HOSTBKK Arts Center and passed the audition of the Bangkok City Ballet Company in 2022. She also participated as an intern in the Music and Dance Festival 2021 of the Multi Media Ballet Russia with guest dancers, Igor Tsvirko and Kristina Kretova, from Bolshoi Ballet. 

3. Thanchanok BUASAI (Tien)

Originally from Lopburi, Thailand, Thanchanok or Tien had been trained in classical ballet at Bangkok City Ballet School since the age of four.
 
Thanchanok graduated from Chulalongkorn University with a BA in Japanese. This is her first time appearing in Bangkok City Ballet Company’s production. She had been participating in Junior Ballet Concerts with Bangkok City Ballet School as a student for 15 years from 2005 until 2020. She graduated from BCBS in 2021 and continues performing in Junior Ballet Concert as alumni every year since then. 
 
In 2016, she was a finalist in MIBGP Malaysian International Ballet Grand Prix, Kuala Lumpur, and received the 2nd prize in Repertoire solo 15 and over in A.T.O.D International Competition 2017 dancing Le Corsaire variation from Le Corsaire. Also, she was awarded Gold medal in A.T.O.D International Competition 2021 for National Solo Open level performing Danse Russe (Russian).
